At the age of six, our founder was sent away from home to a convent hostel.
Surrounded by silence, discipline, and unfamiliar walls, he found comfort not in people — but in nature.
Just beyond the hostel stood a cocoa plantation.
Every day, he walked among the trees.
He climbed them.
He spoke to them.
He tasted the sweet sap of ripe cocoa pods.
Those trees listened when no one else did.
